It’s our 10th Birthday  – day three of the celebrations!

10th birthday day 3

Joanne Tinley Jewellery will be 10 years old
on Wednesday 1st September,
and I’d love you to help me celebrate!

UPDATE! Wow! All 10 copies downloaded in under 5 minutes! Apologies to those of you who missed out but look out for tomorrow’s present!

Today’s present is 10 free copies of my new ebook – so new that I won’t be putting it on in my Etsy store for another couple of days! This is my third jewellery making ebook, and the topic this time is making beautiful chains. A chain was one of the first pieces of jewellery that I made after I learnt to solder, certainly the first piece of jewellery with multiple solder joins.

10th birthday chains ebook

I originally taught myself to solder because I was using a lot of closed jump rings in my bead and wire work and they were expensive – I thought making my own would work out much cheaper, but as I look around my workshop at all the tools and equipment that I now have I’m not sure that cheaper is the right word to use! It certainly did open up a new world for me though, as once I was confident with soldering jump rings closed it was a small step to making simple rings and bangles – and then I wanted to link those jump rings together…

The hints, tips and instructions in this ebook will take you from never having soldered before to a beautiful finished chain bracelet – or a necklace if you get carried away! In the main project I will show you how to make a chain bracelet with 1.2mm wire links, and how to change the  shape and texture of the links. Combining the shapes and textures can allow you to make every link different if you wish. I will also teach you how to make a matching clasp for your bracelet, before showing you how to make an alternative design and some ways of speeding up your soldering as you become more confident in your work, so even those already well practised at soldering and jewellery making will pick up some new tips! Beautiful Chain Step-by-Step has been tested by my students in my workshops. Each person always starts with the same basic materials but by the end of the workshops everyone has made a beautiful piece of jewellery unique to them!

The best thing is that you don’t need to go anywhere else to claim one of the free copies, you can download it by clicking on the link below!

Thank you so much, the book looks amazing and I’m sure will give me the confidence to make something that has been on my to-do list for ages. Happy birthday, congratulations on your success.
